Hi CCA MEXICO Team
On Dec 13, Love Out Louder Day, we have one more opportunity before 2008 comes to a close, to minister the good news in person to our community. I pray that you will take your family to minister with you this time...
Reading 2nd Cor 5, today, this is really the summary and reason why we are compelled to love and share with our community, locally and globally:
Reconciliation: To God Himself through Christ
v.18 All things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Christ Jesus
Our Ministry of Reconciliation
v.18b-19a and has given us the ministry of reconciliation... that is that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself,
Removing our Trespasses
v.19b .. not imputing their trespasses to them
The Word
v.19c ... and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
Hear God's Heart for the unreached and unsaved through us:
Ambassadors for Christ
v.20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God.
Let this be our mind and heart as we moved towards the holiday season, towards the goal of joining CC Merida, CCA Merida and Dr Aguayo and Family to touch the lives of the Mayans in Tabi and Hocaba, and the locals in Merida with the WORD of reconciliation.
Merry Christmas & has a Christ-filled year ahead, proclaiming the good news as HIS PROVEN AMBASSADOR.

Hi Juniors and Parents
I have read most of the Juniors' support letters and find some to be great work. I especially love to read what the LORD is doing in your lives, and what He is weaving in your hearts for greater purpose and strengthening. That's the tone to set for the person you are writing this prayer support letter to.
A few helpful tips to write a successful prayer support letter:
1. Express Your Heart. Why is God calling you to Merida, Mexico and what is He calling you to do? (Your role on the team??)
2. What are your prayer requests? Be specific.
3. What is God doing or has already done in Merida, Mexico (eg. through CCA Merida, CC Merida, CC Tabi, CC Hocaba and Casa Abuelos)
4. Let them know of ways you are raising monies (class fundraiser, personal fundraiser, family fundraisers, etc.)
5. Give specifics about the trip, the dates, places, and what you will be doing?
6. Donation Info : How can someone join in your labor of love? How can they donate to you, your team or the outreaches in Merida?
7. Spell Check & Re-Read your letter. Make them personal.
8. Send it out to family, friends, teachers, doctors, friends of your parents, etc.
9. Have Fun. Until we ask the LORD for help, we labor in vain.
10. Pray, Pray, Pray
God Bless, christabel

Welcome to CCA Merida 09 BLOG
"For I was hungry and you gave Me food; for I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was in prison and you came to Me" (Mat 25:40)
It is NOW, time to begin stirring up the hearts of our 11th grade students as they and CCA plan to venture off to yet another mission trip to Merida, Mexico. This mission trip will give our students a challenging opportunity to grow spiritually and develop an expanded world view and heart for sharing God's love tangibly.
We will all be stoked as we depend on God, learning to take his hand as He guides, directs and works in each and every one of us, for the folks in need. This trip will take place May 31st to June 8th, so mark your calendars, as it will be an experience you will not want to miss out on!
Juniors, please start praying about your involvement, and what area God has called you to be involved in. Parents, if you are reading this blog, we are also looking for parents to help with fundraisers, parents connections and could use your skills and time if you can volunteer. If you are able to, please contact Mr Aaron Mills, the Director of Student Discipleship at aaronm@ccaeagles.org.
Let's continue to pray for Dr Aguayo's family in Merida, the two village churches in Tabi & Hocaba, Casa Abuelos and the elderly men and women who live there, and those that have given their hearts to follow Jesus in Jun 08.
Keep Up the Good Work Juniors. He who has called is able to provide for all your needs in Christ Jesus.
Blessings.
